Throughout his career as a Physiotherapist, Daniel has worked with a diverse range of patients, including athletes, individuals recovering from injuries, and those with chronic conditions. Ms De Battista, is a Forensic Psychology Practitioner, a warranted Gestalt Psychotherapist and an EMDR Trainee practitioner. Mr. Christian Camenzuli is a specialist in general surgery with a particular focus on thyroid and endocrine surgery. After training in general surgery at Mater Dei Hospital, he further specialised in thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal surgery at the renowned Hammersmith Hospital in London, UK. He is a Fellow of both the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the European Board of General Surgery. Currently working at Mater Dei Hospital, Mr. Camenzuli manages a wide range of surgical conditions, including hernias, gallbladder and bowel issues, as well as performing endoscopy, open, and laparoscopic procedures.

Since January 2022, Mr. Sladden has been practicing as a Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Mater Dei Hospital in Malta. He has led several advancements in national cardiothoracic services, including the establishment of Malta’s first national lung cancer tumour management board and a national surveillance clinic for lung cancer survivors. In cardiac surgery, his expertise includes mitral valve repair and complex aortic surgery utilizing selective antegrade cerebral protection.

Mr. Sladden has also introduced several surgical firsts in Malta, performing the country’s initial 25 VATS lobectomies, 5 VATS thymectomies, and 8 sleeve lobectomies. In cardiac surgery, he performed Malta’s first Resilia Inspiris valve implantation and continues to innovate with advanced techniques in established cardiac procedures.

Ms Abela is a registered dietitian based in Malta with clinical experience gained through placements at Mater Dei Hospital and various primary health centres, working as part of multidisciplinary teams. Her expertise covers weight management, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, IBS, inflammatory bowel disease, food allergies and intolerances, kidney and liver disease, and oncology. Mark Camilleri is a firm believer that the world would be a better place if everyone walked more and slept enough. He attended medical school at the University of Malta, graduating in 2003. As part of the first Maltese cohort to undergo GP training, he completed his specialist training in family medicine in 2010. He then read for a Master's degree in Sport and Exercise Medicine at UCL, before staying on in London to work as a GP. Returning to Malta in late 2012, he set up his private GP practice, which he has done full-time ever since. When not working, he walks, runs, reads, writes and travels. And tries to sleep enough.
